City teacher arrested for assaulting mother during dispute: police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A city teacher was arrested when an argument with her mother turned physical in Queens, police said.

Melissa Goldschlager, 33, was arrested Friday around 3:38 p.m. after getting into a fight with her mom in their Forest Hills home, police said.

The Department of Education teacher allegedly shoved her mother into a door during the argument, causing a small cut on her mother’s lip, QNS.com reported.

Goldschlager faces a charge of assault.
