NYPD hunting for suspects who stole $20K out of Staten Island car

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released images late Friday night of three suspects wanted for stealing $20,000 in cash out of a man’s car on Staten Island.

The robbery happened just before noon on Sept. 27 when the victim, a 50-year-old man, went inside an establishment at a strip mall at 50 Richmond Terrace in St. George.

While he was inside, three suspects entered his vehicle and removed $20,000 in cash then fled in a vehicle southbound on Richmond Terrace.

Police released images of the three suspects, who were all wearing hats to obscure part of their faces, and the vehicle in which they fled.
