NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released surveillance footage Tuesday of a woman investigators believe left a baby girl on a subway staircase at Penn Station on Monday.

The infant was left wrapped in a blanket just after 9 a.m. on the stairs leading to the downtown platform of the 1 train, police said.

The new images show a woman holding what appears to be a bundle of blankets around the time the child was placed at the stairwell near West 34th Street and Seventh Avenue.
