NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A subway passenger hurled anti-Asian remarks at a woman on a train in lower Manhattan — a day after an Asian-American man was punched in the face in Midtown, the NYPD said.
The 28-year-old woman was riding a northbound C train near the Fulton Street and Broadway stop in lower Manhattan around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday when a man started to harass her, police told the New York Post.
"F--- you, you Asian b----," the man shouted, according to police. "Don't f--- with me! I'm gonna slap you!"
The man exited the train after shouting at the woman, the outlet reported.
Less than a day earlier, around 11:30 p.m. on Monday, an attacker punched a 31-year-old Asian-American man in the face in midtown Manhattan, cops told the outlet.
The attack is being investigated as a "bias incident," according to the outlet.
