NEW YORK (1010 WINS/ WCBS 880 NEWS) – The NYPD released a photo on Wednesday of a wanted man who allegedly stabbed a man at the Times Square subway station on Saturday.
The suspect, wearing a jersey with the word "legend" on it, allegedly got into an argument with a 23-year-old man at around 9 p.m. near the subway entrance at West 42nd Street and Eighth Avenue, according to police.
The suspect then allegedly tried to snatch the victim's cellphone.
He then stabbed the victim in the chest and ran away on foot.

The victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue and is now in stable condition, according to police.
Police are still looking for the suspect. He was last seen wearing black pants and a white jersey.
An investigation is ongoing.
