NEW YORK (1010WINS) -- An NYPD officer resigned on Monday after he was arrested for allegedly sexually abusing an 11-year-old girl, police said.
Shaun Frazier, 40, had already been suspended without pay following a Sept. 2019 arrest where he was accused of masturbating in front of a 10-year-old girl.
Frazier was caught in Bensalem Township, Pennsylvania on Saturday and extradited to New York on Monday, the New York Post reports.
Officials charged him in Brooklyn with criminal sexual act, sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
Frazier's newest charges alleged occured in 2017 but were brought following an internal affairs investigation.
The alleged victim in that case is a family friend who was 11 at the time, the report adds.
In September 2019, Frazier was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting his friend's 10-year-old daughter, according to the New York Post.
While babysitting her and her 5-year-old brother on Sept. 5, 2019, prosecutors alleged he asked to lick the girl's underwear and told the girl to come into a room while he was masturbating.
Frazier had worked in the NYPD's building maintenance department for five years.
