NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials launched an investigation after the body of a woman with butt injections was dropped off at a Bronx hospital early Tuesday, authorities said.
Just before 2 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious woman inside of NYC Health & Hospitals/Jacobi located at 1400 Pelham Parkway in Morris Park.
Upon arrival, officers were informed by hospital personnel that a 53-year-old victim was dropped off at the hospital, unconscious and unresponsive, by two women.
She was later identified as Maxine Messam of Bridgeport, Connecticut.
The victim was then pronounced dead at the hospital and the investigation remains ongoing.
The woman was naked below her waist and had “numerous injections in her buttocks,” and it appeared she was “injected with an unknown substance,” police sources told the New York Post.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
