NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An off-duty NYPD school safety officer was arrested on Thursday after a domestic dispute, according to police.

Arnesto Stevens, 34, was charged with aggravated harassment for a domestic incident with a 34-year-old woman. Police would not say what their relationship was, but aggravated harassment covers harassing or threatening communications as well as striking or shoving a person with “intent to harass.”

The NYPD would not say where the incident took place, but Stevens was arrested in the 9th Precinct, which covers the East Village.

Stevens’ LinkedIn page indicates he started working for the force in 2015. Police would not confirm whether he is still employed following the charges.
