NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for a 17-year-old girl from Brooklyn who went missing on Wednesday.
Katharine Gerasin was last seen in front of her home on East 13th Street in Homecrest at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, police said.
Gerasin is around 5-foot-5 and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black jacket, black sneakers, a black backpack and a red scarf, the NYPD said.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
