NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a gunman who allegedly shot a 16-year-old boy in the back in the Bronx last week.
The boy was standing at the intersection of East 166th Street and Sheridan Avenue in the Concourse section of the Bronx around 11:40 p.m. on May 4 when the gunman fired a shot, hitting him in his lower back, the NYPD said.

The gunman fled north on Sheridan Avenue after the shooting, police said.
The boy was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition, the NYPD said.
