NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for a man accused of sexually assaulting two women during separate attacks early Sunday morning in Brooklyn.
According to police, the first incident happened around 1:20 a.m. in front of 147 North 3rd Street in the Williamsburg neighborhood.
Officials said the unidentified man approached a 27-year-old woman, grabbed her from behind, placed his hand over her mouth, told her to be quiet, and grabbed her vagina over her clothing.
The victim fled for her safety and the suspect fled on foot, authorities said.
The victim was not injured.
A short while later at 3 a.m., in front of 224 North 6th Street in Williamsburg the suspect approached a 25-year-old woman, grabbed her from behind, placed his hand over her mouth, told her to be quiet, and tried to pull her out of view, the NYPD said.
The victim struck the suspect with her elbow and fled for safety, officials said.
The suspect also fled on foot, police said.
Neither victim was injured in the incidents.
Police released footage of the suspect exiting the Bedford Avenue station L train before the first incident, officials said.
