NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is still searching for two girls from the Bronx who have been missing for months.
Aalyah Wilfong, 16, was last seen inside her home on Olmsted Avenue in Castle Hill around 2:15 a.m. on Sept. 4 of last year, police said in a reissued request for information about her whereabouts on Wednesday.
Wilfong was wearing a black "Kermit the Frog" hat when she went missing, the NYPD said.
Yessica Nivarrez Castro, 14, meanwhile, was last seen inside her home on East Mosholu Parkway North in the Jerome Park section of the Bronx around 11 p.m. on Aug. 17 of last year, police said.
She was last seen wearing all dark clothing, the NYPD said.
The two missing cases are not related, but the NYPD reissued requests for the public's help locating both girls late Wednesday night.
