NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – A teen boy was beaten and attacked with a crowbar and glass bottle on a Brooklyn street, police said Wednesday as they searched for a group of suspects.
The 17-year-old victim was near 47th Street and Fourth Avenue in Sunset Park on the afternoon of July 6 when he was approached by a group of males, according to police.
One assailant struck the victim with a crowbar, while another threw a glass bottle at him, police said.

The teen was also punched and kicked in the head and body by others in the group, according to police.
One of the attackers sped away on a scooter and the others fled on foot, police said.
The victim suffered pain, cuts and bruises to his face and body. He was taken to NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn, where he was in stable condition.
