NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police arrested an off-duty FDNY firefighter accused of punching a man on Staten Island early Sunday.
According to officials, 36-year-old Ricardo Hernandez was arrested at about 2:50 a.m.
Hernandez was charged with assault, the NYPD said.
He was in a the parking lot of the Whiskey Hideaway bar located on Forest Avenue in Mariners Harbor when he punched a 37-year-old man, the Daily News reported.
Hernandez awaits arraignment in Staten Island Criminal Court.
Officials have not released any other information.
