NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – An off-duty NYPD officer was charged with assault in Brooklyn early Friday morning, authorities said.
Officers of the 62 precinct -- which covers a portion of southwestern Brooklyn, including Bensonhurt, Mapleton and Bath Beach -- responded to a domestic incident at about 12:50 a.m., where 26-year-old Tamber Reece was arrested, cops said.
Reece was charged with assault.
No other details regarding the incident were released by officials.
An internal investigation will be conducted.
