
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An off-duty Queens NYPD officer was arrested for drunk driving early Saturday morning, according to police.
Jacob Peterson, 29, was arrested at the intersection of 72nd Road and Grand Central Parkway in Forest Hills around 4:06 a.m., where he refused to take a breathalyzer test, officials said.
His fellow officers charged him with driving while intoxicated, driving while ability impaired by alcohol and refusal to take a breath test.
Peterson has been working on the force since the start of 2018. He’s currently assigned to the 102nd Precinct in Richmond Hill, where he made $65,200 last year.
