NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A winter storm may have bombarded the city with the most snow seen in years, but New Yorkers still managed to make the best of it.

Jimmy Zumot had a friend document him as he skied through the streets of the Lower East Side.

"Woo-hoo!" Zumot was heard saying as he zoomed behind a black vehicle.

A video slide shared on Instagram showed several others as they skied and sledded through the streets of New York.

A Queens restaurant owner is going viral for dining in the snow.

Rocco, the owner of Trattoria L'incontro, an Italian restaurant in Astoria, shared a video as he toasted with a few of his staff members in the snow.

"This is our fist snowstorm of the year," Rocco said. "I would like to thank New York City for this beautiful night."

In another video, an NYPD officer was seen building a snowman donning a mask.

The officer, seen giving a thumbs up, even loaned his hat to the snowman for a photo opp.
