NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are investigating after a man was struck by a vehicle and critically injured at a Queens intersection on Sunday night, authorities said.
According to police, at approximately 8:25 p.m. the victim was crossing the street at the intersection of Roosevelt Ave. and 111th St. in Corona when he was struck by a driver.

The man was transported to Elmhurst Hospital in critical condition.
The driver remained on the scene and did not immediately face charges, police said.
