NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A person was struck by a subway train in Upper Manhattan Thursday morning prompting delays, according to the MTA.
It happened at around 6:45 a.m. near the 163rd Street - Amsterdam Avenue subway station in Washington Heights, officials said.
The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem.
The MTA announced that C trains are running on the express track between 125th Street and 168th Street in both directions. A trains are also delayed in both directions.
An investigation remains ongoing.
