NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Pete Davidson will likely perform 50 hours of community service with the FDNY related to a reckless driving charge in California after an agreement was reached for the Staten Island native to fulfill the requirements set forth by a judge on the West Coast.

“As the son of a 9/11 hero, we would be happy to provide Mr. Davidson an opportunity to do his required community service," FDNY spokeswoman Amanda Farinacci told 1010 WINS about Davidson, whose father Scott was a firefighter killed while responding to the 9/11 terror attacks at the World Trade Center.

Davidson's lawyer has said that the community service "is likely to be completed" with the FDNY, according to The New York Times.

Davidson, 29, was slapped with the misdemeanor in June by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office, which said that Davidson crashed a Mercedes-Benz into a house in Beverly Hills after losing control of the vehicle.

Davidson, was was driving with his girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders, was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol, officials said. No one was injured, either.

A judge earlier this month placed Davidson, who pleaded not guilty, into an 18-month diversion program.

According to the terms set forth, Davidons must pay restitution, attends 12 hours of traffic school and visit a hospital and a morgue to learn about victims of reckless driving.
