NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – New York's Thanksgiving spirit filled the streets of the city with giant balloons and star performances as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade marched from the Upper West Side to Macy's on 34th Street.

Thousands lined the streets, and viewers tuned in to watch iconic balloons and bands bring the parade to life.

This year’s parade will showcase the legendary Cher performing close to the parade’s end, ahead of Santa Claus’ much-anticipated appearance.

The event also includes performances by notable artists such as Jon Batiste, Bell Biv DeVoe, Brandy, Jessie James Decker, and Pentatonix.

Additionally, the casts of several Broadway productions will provide theatrical presentations, alongside Miss America 2023 Grace Stanke.
