NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — Police have arrested a man who they say opened fire on a Bronx street and struck a mother as she walked with her 2-year-old daughter in a stroller last week.
Cody Ball, 27, has been charged with attempted murder, robbery, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a firearm in connection with the Nov. 4 shooting.

Authorities said Ball opened fire just before 6 p.m., following an argument with a 22-year-old man and two others at Broadway and West 225th Street in the Marble Hill neighborhood.
Video from the incident showed at least one gunshot striking the 28-year-old mother in the leg. She was pushing her toddler in a stroller at the time.
The child was not injured, police said.

A bystander came to the mother’s aid and covered her injury with a sweater, according to police.
She was then transported to New York-Presbyterian Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where she was listed in stable condition.
Authorities on Wednesday confirmed they are still seeking a second suspect in the shooting.
That suspect is described as a dark-skinned male approximately 25-30 years of age, 5’9” tall and 170- 180lbs. He was last seen wearing a black hat, black jacket with the word Brooklyn across the back, grey sweatpants and black sneakers.
