NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Police are investigating after a 26-year-old man was fatally shot in the Bronx early Monday morning.
The NYPD responded to a 911 call around 3 a.m. at 1102 Longfellow Ave., in the Longwood neighborhood.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim with a gunshot wound in the torso, police said.
EMS took him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was pronounced dead.
The identity of the victim is being withheld as his family has not yet been notified.
No arrests have been made.
An investigation is ongoing.
