NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – The NYPD released surveillance images Sunday of a man wanted in connection with a double slashing at a Harlem subway station on Thursday night.

The knife-wielding man attacked the men during an argument on the 2/3 platform around 7:40 p.m., according to police.

Sources told 1010 WINS that the argument erupted after one of the victims wouldn't open the turnstile gate to let the man and his dog in.

The assailant slashed that man, 32, in his arm and abdomen and then slashed another man, 45, in his arm as he was fleeing, police said.

The two victims were taken to St. Luke's Hospital, where they were treated and released.

The suspect was last seen fleeing the station through the exit at 111th Street and Lenox Avenue, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
