Police search for man behind brazen afternoon robbery at Manhattan bank

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released a photo of a suspect they said is wanted for robbing a Manhattan bank on Thursday, according to officials.

At approximately 3 p.m. on September 23, the suspect entered Chase Bank, located at 255 1st Avenue in Gramercy, and displayed a note to the teller demanding cash, police said.

Authorities said the suspect took $1,000 in cash and fled in an unknown direction.
