NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Police released photos Wednesday of three suspects as they investigate a Brooklyn robbery spree in which men on mopeds ripped the chains off the necks of two women and a teen girl.

The three robberies happened in just over an hour on the morning of Oct. 17 in East New York.


The first robbery happened around 6 a.m. when one of the suspects approached a 39-year-old victim near 892 Glenmore Ave., snatched her neck chain and sped off on a moped.

About 45 minutes later, two men on mopeds approached a 15-year-old girl as she was walking at the intersection of Liberty Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue, snatched her neck chain and drove off.

A 36-year-old woman became the third victim when around 7:13 a.m. an unidentified man on a moped approached her and snatched her neck chain. The suspect fled on the moped.

All three victims were unharmed.

Police described all three suspects as males and are actively seeking the public's help in identifying and locating the individuals.
