NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Days after a teen was stabbed in a mob attack in Times Square and seven people were arrested for the crime, the NYPD released photos of eight more wanted men.
The 17-year-old victim, believed to be a migrant from Nicaragua, was stabbed outside of 251 West 42nd St. at about 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The location is just yards away from the migrant shelter at the Candler Building where two NYPD officers were beaten by a mob last month.

A group of attackers engaged the teen in a verbal dispute before escalating to violence. The mob repeatedly punched and kicked the victim before stabbing him in the back, police said.
The NYPD was originally seeking at least a dozen suspects, and after reviewing security footage in the area, released photos over the weekend of eight men wanted for the mob attack.

Police said that the suspects were last seen entering the Times Square subway station.
