Police seek man who groped woman in Manhattan subway station

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Police released a photo on Sunday to aid their search for a man wanted for groping a woman in a Union Square subway station on Friday.

At about 4:20 p.m. on Friday, a 32-year-old woman was standing on the southbound L platform at the 14th Street-Union Square subway station when a stranger, who had just got off a train, approached, police said.

Officials said that the man grabbed the woman’s buttocks before fleeing inside the station.

The victim was not physically injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as being 5’11”, and is depicted in media released by the NYPD.
