NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released a video on Tuesday of an armed man they are looking to identify after he allegedly flashed his gun at a man inside Manhattan train station earlier this month.
It was reported to police that on Friday, April 9, at approximately 1 p.m. inside the East Broadway subway station, the suspect passed by a 30-year-old man and engaged in conversation, prior to a verbal dispute.
The suspect then brandished a silver and black handgun and began to follow the victim, police said.
The victim was placed in fear of his safety and ran from the individual, who then fled to parts unknown, officials said.
There were no injuries reported.
Authorities describe the suspect as an adult male with a dark complexion, 5'11" tall, weighing 200 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair.
He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, black sandals, a black and grey bandanna, black surgical mask and a black backpack with the word 'Nike' written in red.
Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
