NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An MTA bus operator had a medical episode while on-duty Sunday morning, causing him to lose control of the vehicle and crash, leaving himself and two passengers hospitalized.

The 51-year-old operator was driving a Q32 bus eastbound on Queens Boulevard near 46th Street in Sunnyside at about 9:34 a.m. when he had the medical episode, police said.

The MTA worker lost control of the bus, veered left and crashed into a fence and several parked cars under an elevated 7 train platform, officials said.

Two female passengers, 36 and 55, were injured in the crash, officials said. They and the driver were hospitalized.
