HACKENSACK, N.J. (1010 WINS) — A 44-year-old Queens man was arrested on Tuesday for sexually assaulting a minor in New Jersey, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office announced on Friday.
Nikolaos Chlios sexually assaulted a child who was 15-years-old or younger in Old Tappan multiple times, according to prosecutors.
The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office started an investigation in May after the Old Tappan Police Department told the prosecutor's special victims unit a crime may have occurred.
Chlios faces sexual assault and child endangerment charges.
He was being held in Bergen County Jail while awaiting trial as of Friday.
