NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police arrested a 31-year-old Queens man who had fled to Florida after he allegedly stabbed his brother to death, the NYPD said Saturday.

On July 17, Henry Gutierrez stabbed his 52-year-old brother Oscar Gutierrez 12 times during an argument in their apartment on Jamaica Avenue near Queens Boulevard in Jamaica, authorities claim.

When emergency responders arrived, they found Oscar with wounds to his shoulder, groin, neck, stomach, chest and back. They rushed him to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The younger Gutierrez was extradited to New York on Friday and charged with murder, according to officials.
