While patrolling the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge, troopers pulled over Jordan Cotterell, 26, who was driving a 2006 Nissan Sentra, for a traffic law violation.
Cotterell then tried to dodge the troopers by speeding away in his car.
Shortly after, his car broke down and he tried to escape on foot.
He was caught and arrested.
Cotterell now faces multiple charges, including criminal possession of a forged instrument, unlawful fleeing from a police officer, reckless endangerment and reckless driving.
Cotterell was arrested and taken to Queens County Central Booking to wait for his arraignment.
