NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a trio of men in connection with a gunpoint robbery that occurred at Queens smoke shop last week, authorities said.
At approximately 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, three suspects entered the Globe Smoke & Convenience store located at 801 Cypress Ave. in Ridgewood.
Once inside, one of the suspects displayed a silver firearm toward a 27-year-old employee working behind the counter and demanded money, officials said.
The two other suspects walked behind the counter and took approximately $1000 from the employee and $600 from the cash register.
The suspects then fled on bicycles southbound on Madison Street.
There were no reported injuries as a result of this incident.
