NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Rapper G-Eazy is facing an assault charge after he allegedly punched two men during a fight last week inside a Meatpacking District hotel, the NYPD said.
A 29-year-old man and 32-year-old man reported to police that the rapper, whose real name is Gerald Gillum, punched them during a brawl at the Standard, High Line hotel, authorities said.

The New York Daily News reports the fight broke out after the 29-year-old asked G-Eazy and his entourage to move to another section in the hotel's Boom Boom Room club.
The group then reportedly attacked the man, punching and kicking him to the ground, then went outside — where the rapper allegedly punched the 32-year-old victim.
Police said neither victim was hospitalized.
The Daily News reports G-Eazy was taken into custody Monday and is scheduled to appear in Manhattan Criminal Court on Oct. 1.
His arrest came a day after the “Me, Myself and I” rapper attended the 2021 Video Music Awards.
