NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – The NYPD are searching for a robber accused of targeting three Brooklyn businesses in 40 minutes earlier this week.
The first incident occurred at approximately 3:36 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14 when the suspect entered CFSC Checks Cashed Broadway located at 785 Broadway in Bushwick.
According to officials, the suspect passed a note and stated he had a bomb in a cardboard box.
He fled the location leaving behind the note and cardboard box.
No items were taken and he fled on foot in an unknown direction.
At approximately 3:45 p.m., the suspect entered Pay-O-Matic located at 126 Graham Ave. He simulated that he had a firearm inside of a plastic bag and made a statement to a female worker.
No items were taken by the suspect and he fled the location, on foot, northbound on Graham Avenue.
The third incident happened at approximately 4:10 p.m., when the suspect entered Bushwick Green Cleaner located at 152 Graham Ave.
The suspect grabbed an unknown object from his waistband and simulated that he had a firearm.
He then took $40 from a tip jar and fled the location on foot eastbound on Johnson Avenue towards Humboldt Street.
There were no injuries reported as a result of any incidents.
