The bar-goers had just left El Jefe Sports Cantina on Dyckman Street near Vermilyea Avenue in Fort George around 2:15 a.m. when three men in ski masks jumped out of a white car and robbed them, officials said.
One of the victims tried to run, but one of the robbers reportedly pistol whipped him in the face.
The suspects fled after taking the victims’ phones and wallets, according to authorities.
The New York Post originally reported one of the victims was an off-duty police officer, but the NYPD said that is not true.
Police have not yet made any arrests.
