NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The first snowflakes of the season made their way into the Tri-State area overnight, with several possible chances of snow flurries into Sunday evening.
By sunrise Sunday, parts of lower New York, Connecticut and New Jersey saw some snowflakes fall, with little chance of accumulating.
Accumulations of 1-3 inches fell in western and central New York by Sunday morning. Another sprinkle or flurry could be possible Sunday afternoon.

Warmer weather is expected to mix into the storm Sunday afternoon into Sunday night, according to AccuWeather, meaning temperatures will likely remain above freezing during much of the storm from southeastern New Jersey and southeastern parts of New York and New England.
Monday is set to be sunny, with highs in the low-40s. The week ahead appears to start cold but finishes with milder temperatures around New York City.
