NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – An argument between two couples outside an Upper East Side bar early Wednesday ended in a burst of gunfire, with a man shot in the leg and a woman hit by flying glass, police said.

The argument erupted around 2:45 a.m. outside a bar at 1450 Second Ave., near East 76th Street.

The two victims—a 32-year-old man and 29-year-old woman—were arguing with another man and woman, believed to be in their 30s, when the man in the latter couple pulled a gun and fired seven shots, police said.

At least one bullet struck the 32-year-old man in his left leg. Bullets also struck a car and shattered its windows, sending glass at the 29-year-old woman, who suffered lacerations, according to cops.
