NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is searching for a gunman accused of firing shots inside a Brooklyn post office during an attempted armed robbery on Monday afternoon, authorities confirmed.
It happened at around 1:15 p.m.at the post office on located at 1288 Coney Island Ave. in MIdwood.
Upon arrival, responding officers discovered that a gunman fired multiple rounds in the facility before fleeing on a moped.
No injuries were reported and the investigation is ongoing.
