NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 32-year-old man was arraigned on Monday for trafficking a group of women and a 14-year-old girl.
Justin Dixon, 32, allegedly forced the teen and two other women to live with him in a Staten Island house while coercing them to have sex for money, which he then collected.
He “effectively enslaved them through acts of force and coercion,” according to the criminal complaint.
Dixon started speaking with the child on Instagram on Jan. 22 before bringing her to his home in New Springville just a block away from the Staten Island Mall, prosecutors said.
He took her phone and demanded she prostitute herself in order to earn it back, officials allege.
The criminal complaint also details Dixon’s alleged efforts to make the girl gain weight in order to appear older.
He allegedly forced her to take pills to increase her appetite, eat excessive amounts and was making arrangements to get breast implants.
Police arrested Dixon on Jan. 26 and charged him with kidnapping and promoting prostitution.
A Brooklyn federal judge ordered he be held without bail.
