NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Steve Martin joined throngs of other eligible New Yorkers Sunday at the Javits Center and received the coronavirus vaccine.

"Right now, I’m having no fide resects," he joked on Twitter, when asked how he was feeling.

Martin also said it was a bittersweet experience: "Good news/Bad news," he wrote. Good news: I just got vaccinated! Bad news: I got it because I’m 75. Ha!"

He added, "The operation in NYC was smooth as silk (sorry about the cliché @BCDreyer!) and hosted to perfection by the US Army and National Guard. Thank you all, and thank you science."

The ever-so-helpful actor also shared with one of his followers how he signed-up: "I signed up ON line through an NYC dot gov website (sorry I don’t have the exact site), and waited IN line at the Javits Center."
