NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police on Tuesday released a photo of a man accused of slapping a woman's backside in broad daylight in the East Village earlier this month.
Just before 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, a 23-year-old woman was walking in front of 139 1st Ave. when she was approached from behind by the suspect.
According to officials, the suspect slapped the woman's buttocks and attempted to hug her.
He then fled on foot northbound on 1st Avenue to parts unknown.
