NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An 18-year-old was stabbed during a fight with another man in Washington Square Park on Sunday morning, police said.
It's unclear what sparked the fight in the Greenwich Village park, but it ended with the teen being stabbed in the arm from behind around 12:30 a.m., police sources told the New York Post.
The victim was being treated at Beth Israel Medical Center and is expected to survive, according to the sources, who said he wasn't being cooperative.
There were election-related celebrations in the park this weekend, including Saturday evening, though it's unclear if the victim or his attacker took part.
No arrests have been reported.
