NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A subway rider was slashed as he and another man fought over a seat on a train in Lower Manhattan, police said Wednesday as they released an image of the suspect.
The 33-year-old victim was riding a southbound A train at 5:45 a.m. on Feb. 4 when the suspect argued with him over a seat, according to police.
As the train rumbled through Tribeca or the Financial District, the dispute escalated and the suspect slashed the victim’s left hand with a sharp object, police said.
The victim was treated at the scene for his injuries, while the suspect fled.
