NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A subway rider was slashed as he waited for a subway train at the Bryant Park station during Tuesday morning’s rush, police said.

The 28-year-old victim was on the uptown M platform at the 42nd Street–Bryant Park station shortly before 9 a.m. when his attacker slashed him across the arm, according to police.

The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition.

Police haven’t released a description of the suspect, who fled the scene.

No arrests have been reported.
