NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for a suspect who was captured on video choking and beating a 64-year-old man following a dispute that occurred last week on a Brooklyn street.
At approximately 6:15 p.m. on Monday, August 2nd, the victim engaged in a verbal dispute with the suspect in the vicinity of Eldert Street and Wyckoff Avenue in Bushwick, officials said.

The dispute then escalated to a physical encounter with the suspect choking, slapping, and punching the victim's face and torso in front of a white van, the video released by police shows.
The suspect fled southbound on Wyckoff Avenue in a red Mercedes-Benz, authorities said.

The victim was taken to Wyckoff Hospital for swelling and bruising to his face and torso.
