NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police have taken a person of interest into custody for the murder of a man in Harlem early Wednesday morning, authorities said.
The attack took place at about 4:21 a.m. near the intersection of West 137 St. and Malcolm X Boulevard in Harlem.
An unidentified man was slashed in the neck. EMS rushed him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, but he succumbed to his injuries.
A suspect is in custody, but charges have yet to be filed, according to police.
The circumstances surrounding the homicide were not immediately clear.
