NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Thursday released a photo of a man wanted for driving car into NYPD officer during a traffic stop in Inwood last month.
Just after 9 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 21, officers were conducting a vehicle stop of a Kia Forte in the vicinity of Vermilyea Avenue and West 204th Street, when the vehicle struck one of the officers.
The suspect then fled the scene in the vehicle, traveling to parts unknown.
The officer was transported to an area hospital for injuries to his right arm and was listed in stable condition.
