NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released a photo Thursday of a female wanted for allegedly stabbing a teen girl in the back earlier this week in the Bronx.
It happened just before 3 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 18, when the suspect approached the girl at the intersection of Westchester Avenue and Brook Avenue in Melrose.
According to officials, the suspect pushed the victim, displayed a knife, and stabbed her in the back before she fled the location on foot to parts unknown.
EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket, a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black and white sneakers.
